I Now Pronounce You...

Tomorrow will be a historic day in California history. On Monday June 16th, same sex marriage will be legal and protected in the Golden State. Voters in the state have twice passed initives to define marriage between a man and woman. I am opposed to the notion that the fight for gay rights is the same as the civil rights movement of the 60's. It is not. I came across this great article concerning this topic. It is an intelligent discussion of the dangers of activist judges and CONSEQUENCES of the legalization of same sex marriage.

Thankfully, there will be a proposition on the November ballot to abolish same sex marriage by inserting a constitutional amendment. Marriage is the foundation of any civil society. If marriage can be reduced to "Party A" and "Party B" then if can mean anything. In effect, marriage will mean nothing and it will erode the fabric of this nation.
