On June 17th, it will be legal in the State of California for gay couples to marry. This is a result of the May 16th decision by the State Supreme Court to declare that to deny marriage to a homosexual couple is unconstitutional. This week, enough signatures were gathered to put a proposition on the November ballot to create a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage once and for all. This is sure to be another epic showdown between those who wish erode the basic family unit and those who have the simple belief that the title of marriage is reserved for a man and a woman.
