Watch as members of the Philadelphia Phillies aide the Colorado Rockies' groundscrew. Of course, thats about the only thing the Phillies are good for these days but you gotta admit it was classy of them to help out. Even the umps got into the act.

All-Star Moments
Since we are in the midst of the All-Star Break in baseball I felt it is an appropriate time to revist a few defining moments of the adventures of Bear Grylls.
Gone Fishing in the European Alps
My personal favorite. Man vs. Bunny. Amazing!
The Ultimate Bear Moment! This deserves the MVP award. (Most Valuable Pee).

Robots In Disguise
Knowing full well, that Michael Bay was directing Transformers I had little or no expectations for this long-awaited film. Over a year ago, I was one of the unlucky ones to watch Bay's film, "The Island." Probably the worst film in recent memory, if anyone wants a preview of what to expect of Transformers then watch that movie first. Bay's senseless and reckless use of explosions, cheeky humor, coupled with his inability to create meaningful characters doomed The Island and it certainly dooms Transformers.
Transformers clocks-in just under two and a half hours and by all estimates its length is a bit laborious. I felt that Bay failed to capitalized numerous times on certain objects and situations to develop a greater attachment to the focal pieces. My overall rating is a B. Transformers has moments and at times periods of smart acting. However, leave it to Michael Bay to morph this beloved series into a specticle that ultimatley deforms into a roadside wreck.

Anime Adventures
If there is one thing about me, it is that i LOVE anime. Being the anime enthusiast that I am, I ventured with my brother to the Anime Expo this past weekend at the Long Beach Convention Center. Ok, time for a little honesty. I don't have any interest in anime whatsoever. Although, I do have an interest for Japanese culture, anime has never been a passion of mine.
As expected, there were a ton of people dressed up as their favorite characters. Guys dressed as ninja lords carrying their handcrafted swords, chicks dressed with high socks and the shortest mini skirts, and even people wearing racoon tails. Yes, racoon tails...
Anyways, it was an interesting experience. I took a ton of pictures. If you like to people watch, it is definatly the place to be.

STRIKE
The supermarket stike is near...i don't like unions.
I really want to cross the picket lines. Those cashiers earn so much money for the most mundane tasks. Seriously, how hard is it to swipe groceries on the conveyer belt...
We can probably do away with 50% of overheard if they just introduced more self-checkout stands. Less overhead = lower costs...
